Review application of federal, state and local tax laws; counsel regarding frequent changes in tax laws; obtain tax-exempt status; develop business plans for tax advantages; resolve disputes with tax authorities; coordinate tax plans with accountant.
Negotiate purchase or lease of land, machine, buildings, or an existing business; prepare purchase or lease agreements; resolve purchase or lease disputes.
Prepare credit applications; prepare guarantees, liens and security agreements; implement compliance with credit laws, particularly consumer credit laws and regulations; collect accounts.
